Actual fake ID replica cards are direct copies of an existing card. For example, a direct copy of a UK Passport is a Fake ID. It is an offence to; replicate this passport, possess the passport or use the passport.
Illegal Fake ID differs from novelty fake ID as sold by many UK vendors, in that the copyright of the original creators of the document is being infringed upon when an Illegal Fake ID is made.
The replication of state documents is a crime in most countries, and is a serious threat to “national security”, whatever that means.
