The Fake ID Mill

Ah, the fake ID mill. Rumour has it that the proprietor, going under the pseudonym Sneak "the Freak" Bookerman produced enough fake id cards to stretch from ceiling to floor of a very stately and high ceilinged mansion. Demand for fake id was high in the mid-1800s, with ruffians, ne'er-do-wells and toddlers queuing up to have their grubby faces immoralised on dye-sublimate printed PVC cards.

Above, a reproduction of a painting by Constable, the only known record of the venerable Fake ID Mill in action. Extra large cards were sometimes made for the large giant population of south Cornwall, and the hard-of-seeing.
